Bethune: The Making of a Hero

It's time for Well, Hong?, an alphabetic review series on the complete filmography of actor JAMES HONG. This is Chapter 9...

The making of notes on Wikipedia are far more interesting than the final product (the most expensive film in Canadian history at the time!). All apologies to Bethune-Heads out there, but this one was a SLOG and I didn’t watch most of it. James Hong is (allegedly) in this in a tiny role, but I bailed before he shows up (SORRY!). I actually tried to scan through the movie to find him but to no avail. It would seem strange for him to take on a non-speaking role at this point in his career and his character does have a name in the credits, so I am assuming he is in the final cut somewhere. But I guess we’ll never know for sure.
