🎙️ EPISODE 146: 12.19.18 This film functions better as a character study than a mystery, for the latter teeters on Scooby Doo territory. Only issue with the former is that the performances of said characters borders on over-acting at times. In general, as with Sicario, these are difficult genres to work in and not feel like you're doing paint by numbers. Even if you either never or always stay inside the lines.
