🎙️ EPISODE 597: 11.14.22

This is the first of what's going to be six more TRUE RANDOM episodes before I'm putting this series on ice for an extended timeframe. I just can't do it anymore. In theory, this is a great idea (one of my best perhaps). But in practice, it has become a chore. I dread pressing play on these randomly chosen selections now. In many ways, this film is the perfect TRUE RANDOM movie: international and more than 25 years old, it's a film I would NEVER have known existed let alone watched without the GODS of TRUE RANDOM doing their bidding. This is a harmless family-oriented flick about two factions of "warring" pre-teens boys from the different sides of the tracks. There's a vague message about civics and a more concrete one about friendship. The guy who played Davos Seaworth in Game of Thrones is in this only he still has a full head of hair.
