🎙️ EPISODE 631: 12.30.22 A delirious and mesmerizing triumph. Phil Tippett's decades-in-the-making stop motion hell ride is one of the most unique works of art I've ever seen. This world and its character design is beyond brilliant. One scene is more astonishing than the next. Sure, if you're truly averse to gross-out imagery maybe this is not for you. But my advice would be to suck it up, because this is a masterpiece, instantly (and literally) a timeless work of art. I feel like the insertion of some of the live action doesn't totally gel, but it's the smallest of complaints really. This is phenomenal and a near-masterpiece. Go see it!
