 | MOVIE #1,409 • 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 • 02.29.24 I’m not sure why this — another davidlynch.com era entry — has but a 2.6 rating on Letterboxd. It’s only 15 seconds long! As a big fan of arbitrary rules, here’s another one I just made up: any film that clocks in under a minute is getting at least an 8 from me. There’s more information in the official (?) two-sentence description than we could potentially ever glean from these 15 seconds: “Lacking imagination and creativity, a dejected office drone can’t help but admit defeat. And then, out of the blue, an abstract idea in the shape of a cold claw hammer strikes him” but it is exactly that. I also liked how the aforementioned “strike” is really more of a gentle plunk. But don't take my word for it. |
