One could simply transcribe this and that could be a review. Just lay out all the elements and barely-connected lines of dialogue like a jigsaw and try to assemble it, something: the burning hole that appears, the seemingly random laugh track, the three separate poetic monologues, etc. I’d never actually watched this outside of the context of INLAND EMPIRE, where we see a character watching excerpts as if it’s some kind of real TV show. Like the strangest of Lynch’s work, it will leave you feeling bewildered, but like the best, it hints at some greater idea.

Rabbits is a 2002 series of eight short horror web films written and directed by David Lynch, although Lynch himself refers to it as a sitcom. It depicts three humanoid rabbits played by Scott Coffey, Laura Elena Harring and Naomi Watts in a room. Their disjointed conversations are interrupted by a laugh track. Rabbits is presented with the tagline "In a nameless city deluged by a continuous rain... three rabbits live with a fearful mystery". It was released on June 9, 2002.
