MOVIE #1,453 • 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 • 03.18.24
This three-part, 24-minute interview is immediately interrupted by a word from our sponsor and we cut to Mark on a small hill out in the snow struggling with something. We see and hear a crow caw. Text reads, "Life is hard. Get insurance or something." End of message. Mark's opening salvo in this, the third installment of his feature film director interview series with the trio behind the anthology horror movie, The Signal, is "your film opens with women handcuffed in the woods and I was wondering if you guys had ever handcuffed women in the woods before." One guy chuckles while another says, "that's actually documentary footage," clearly unamused. Other highlights include: more Brolin chat, Mark asking them to do an impression of one of the film's side characters (one of them does), and a bonus "part 4" at the end of the third upload where Mark films himself at night next to a phone booth under a streetlight but he's interrupted by something off-camera and can't deliver his closing message.
