I’m not sure of the greater context for this work (I think it was included on a Fire Walk with Me DVD release as well as via davidlynch.com). I suppose the Laura Palmer character/ideal is simply never far from Lynch’s mind, and that’s fitting as it’s likely his greatest invention, or at least the best distillation of the themes he’s explored throughout his career. |
