MOVIE #1,745 • 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 • 06.21.24 宮崎駿監督のフォーカス I think the “princess” in the title led me astray as far as what my expectations were for what this was gonna be. Spoiler alert: I’ve already seen the even more heralded and beloved follow-up, Spirited Away, and I’m not sure which one I liked more. This leans in heady to the adult side of the “adult animation/anime” tag, what with its copious beheadings for example. There’s still four features left to get to, but I could see these two films taking the co-leadership spot with an asterisk for kids vs. adults content. I don’t know, this is a horrible review. I just really loved this from top to bottom |
