I completely get the appeal of these stories and why they're told in this long-form way (apart from the cynical ‘minutes watched’ algorithm used by Netflix). They allow you to turn your brain off in a totally different way than a movie (good or bad). But this is probably twice as long as needs to be (it’s eight 45+ minute episodes) and I agree with the complaint that it offers no new information, though I personally wasn’t familiar with the story beforehand.

The McCann family opposed its production and refused to take part in it. It was released on March 15, 2019.
