I watched Disconnected - Gorman Bechard's debut feature — back in April and immediately thought that this was a man, no an AUTEUR that I need to do a deep-dive on. Flash forward five months and here we are. I didn't have any luck tracking down two of his three early shorts, but I did find the 3-minute The Only Take on the director's own YouTube channel. I'll return to rank / sort these out when I'm finished, but new Gorman reviews will debut on alternating Wednesdays...
