Kantemir Arturovich Balagov (Russian: Кантемир Артурович Балагов, Kabardian: Бэлагъы Артурыкъуэ Къантемыр; born 28 July 1991) is a Russian film director who has directed two feature films as of 2023: Closeness (2017) and Beanpole (2019). Both are excellent. I liked Closeness a little bit more.
