THE SCHEDULE

Starting in April 2023, TWO new episodes will come out each weekday at midnight. This is the current schedule for the rest of the year...

𝐀 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒: Alternating between TRUE RANDOM series (a totally randomly generated title) and a Chronological DIRECTOR FOCUS series (currently: the work of Jia Zhangke, then The Safdie Brothers). Plus, a standalone review of a select short film every Monday, as well.

𝟐 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒: Double feature reviews of recent (within the last 5 years) usually paired because of some phonetic or thematic similarities.

𝐖𝐖𝐖 - 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐄𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒: Another double feature block of episodes featuring two (usually older) films picked at random from my Letterboxd watchlist.

𝐃𝐎𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒: Alternating episode of my Nicolas Cage filmography review series (THE YEAR OF CAGE) and a new alphabetical actor's filmography series called WELL... HONG, focusing on the work of legendary character actor JAMES HONG (who has appeared in well over 100 movies). These will paired with a standalone episode of a chronological DIRECTOR FOCUS series on Darren Aronofsky, followed by a special "ranking" Lars von Trier DIRECTOR FOCUS (starting in June).

𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 = 𝐓𝐆𝐈-𝐇 & 𝐓𝐆𝐈-𝐃 + "𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐋-𝐈𝐍" 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒: Alternating weekly, two more long-run chronological DIRECTOR FOCUS series on Alfred Hitchcock and Claire Denis, respectively, which will run till the end of 2023 and beyond. Plus a "fill-in" Friday weekly series where I examine another film by a (sometimes randomly) chosen director whose work I've already reviewed at least once before.<

[Note: All of the above will pause in OCTOBER 2023 for a very special NO DAYS OFF month of spooky programming: 31 32 straight amazing days including Japanese Saturdays, special double & triple features each Sunday and a complete review of the entire Friday the 13th franchise. A bonkers 50 (FIFTY!) movies critiques in all.]
