• VOLUME LI •

Well, after I relatively long run of solid to good/great TRUE RANDOM choices, we got a definite meh one here, folks.

There are some fun parts (the open market shootout and hospital/ambulance chase sequence) and some LoL random things (why is there an unlit cigarette dangling out of Robert Blake’s mouth the entire movie?) but too much shitty neo-noir dialogue and rote exposition bog it down. Haven’t really seen too much of Elliot Gould or Robert Blake in leading roles, though, so that was interesting. And it’s always good to see A+ character actors like Allen Garfield and Michael Lerner. Not quite a recommend from me but certainly not terrible.
