MOVIE #1,081 • 🍿🍿🍿🍿 • 07.27.23 Is it me, or is something about that movie poster vaguely racist? Anyway, this one started off well enough. Directed by Richard Harris’s son. Seemed like the type of neo-noir that I can usually get into (even if it looks like a cheap TV show) but it unravels pretty fast by the end of the second act and the ending is a total mess (the shift in focus to the judge’s floozie gf and her ultimately being the last man standing? nope). Also, it seemed like this would be a little meatier Hong role because he is listed fairly high in the credits but he’s only in a single scene. |
