It's weird that this is one of the worst accidents in American history and I had no clue it ever happened. Even worse, it ends with the structural engineer who was in charge basically saying that it wasn't his fault before offering up one of the more halfassed apologies you'll ever see. He went on to a life of "lecturing about the accident" after he lost his license to practice. That's all. Oh, and they never made any sort of memorial for the dead. They just rebuilt the atrium and the whole damn thing is a footnote now. Well, not to everybody... |
