🎙️ EPISODE 42: 08.02.2016 I'm writing this at 10:28pm on a Wednesday night. I'm trying to knock out ten of these archival grafs (Eps 41-50) tonight. I don't necessarily mind writing in this off-the-cuff style for lesser films, like the one I am going to write immediately after this one (Wake up, Maggie). But, good or bad, I feel like I am shortchanging the notable names whose work deserves a deeper and more immediate critique. Darren Aronofsky is one of those names. So I says to myself, "One day, self. This is just the placeholder," and then I write the next one.
