 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 | 🎙️ EPISODE 13: 04.13.2015 Cruise? Blunt? Sci-fi action time loop flick? I mean, come on, what's not to love, folks. It's one thing to say you're going to make the definitive sci-fi action version of Groundhog Day (people are ALWAYS saying this btw; don't you hear them saying this? you don't?? Listen harder, people JESUS) and it's another thing to FOLLOW THROUGH. Seriously, what else is there to write or dissect? If the general point of this blog is to tell you what movies I'm recommending then yes I am into Tom Cruise/Emily Blunt sci-fi action time loop flicks at the word "go"... guilty as freaking charged. Other than that the only interesting things about this perfectly fine movie are the insane marketing decisions re its title (it was originally called All You Need Is Kill and then subsequently changed to Live Die Repeat for the home media release), and the fact that way too many people were thinking WAY TOO hard about some aspects. |
