Soul continues Pixar's nearly unimpeachable run of making extremely watchable kids movies. Anybody who put it on a Top 10 list or whatever can go straight to hell, but it's definitely interesting and enjoyable as far as these things (kids movies) go. The Reznor-Ross scored 'heaven' sequences were definitely better than the jazzy IRL world stuff, but all and all, good job everyone! As a parent, it's important to have this stuff alongside the endless sea of mindless garbage. |
