🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 | 🎙️ EPISODE 481: 06.03.22 Many notable directors contributed to this anthology film: 42 in fact. In addition to Korine, David Lynch and Larry Clark and Kenneth Anger and Leos Carax contributed, among them. For now, I'm just going to examine his one-minute contribution, a short segment called "Crutchnap." This, like Mak and Play is very much in the vein of Trash Humpers. From the POV of someone frantically leaving their house set to the cacophony of a canned baby crying, they exit the garage and find two guys walking on a crutches with a babydoll tied between them connected to their heads: the source of the sound, and zero comfort. Unlike Mak and Play, the one-minute run-time works and/or is about all you can stomach. |
