🎙️ EPISODE 579: 10.19.22 I'd been meaning to check this one out for awhile and it was a nice, fun break from the other horror flicks I've been consuming this month. The twist is what it is; I wasn't THAT floored by it. The vibe which it settles into has an almost Family Channel made-for-TV feel-good aesthetic which I wasn't totally loving but it definitely grows on you (the score, however does not; sounded like the royalty-free music in the videos my daughter watches on YouTube Kids) . It is certainly a charming ode to creativity and working on the fly with whatever little means one has at their disposal. By the end, you won't be able to stop sincerely smiling and it won't necessarily be for the reasons you think.
