 🍿🍿 | 🎙️ EPISODE 632: 01.03.23 The second part of my How It Ends double feature to start the new year was somehow far worse than the vastly different 2018 production it shares a name with. I get it. COVID was rough for everybody, even filmmakers! The sheer number of cameos and "Hey it's that guy!" appearances don't make up for the fact that all of those vignettes come off as half-baked and/or bad improv. This coupled with the fact that it constantly attempts to come back to a serious emotional center which is never established makes for a pretty miserable experience. I gave it one more bag of popcorn because it has Pauly Shore playing himself. But, yeah, this stinks. |
