MOVIE #1,295 • 🍿🍿🍿 • 12.25.23 I think the writer-director (John A. Russo – who co-wrote Night of the Living Dead!) might have penned the Wikipedia entry for this. It's way too high-minded lol: “The film gives an insider's view of the challenges that actors and actresses face about violent stalker fans and describes the downside of fame.” For this is also a film wherein a good 20% of it is just women stripping/dancing naked. I wanted to like this more but it's far too hateful of a film to fully enjoy despite that virtuous synopsis and its glaring “So Bad It’s Good” qualities. It might be the worst looking shot on 16mm movie I’ve ever seen. And it has some of the most awful ADR that I’ve definitely ever seen…

Still, the dude in the lead killer role is so head-scratchingly bad (but also REALLY going for it) that it somewhat salvages things...


3 out of 10 is probably a generous score, all things considered.
