It's interesting that even someone who has such an original style wasn't anywhere close to fully formed out of the box. It's actually kind of quaint and interesting in this regard. If it wasn't viewed through the lens of Bottle Rocket the feature (and the rest of Anderson's filmography to a degree), it would seem like an above average student thesis. |
