So many people talk about this subject like they have something to say, but in reality it's 99% useless noise that serves a single purpose: dehumanization. Even the truly well-meaning ones will state that it's complicated when it really isn't. This is the big lie. The only answer is compassion and empathy. Of course you feel bad for this child, but this film doesn't beg for either emotion. These kid actors are brilliant as is Sciamma’s screenplay and direction. I think you should open your heart and watch this movie.
