MOVIE #1,433 • 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 • 03.12.24 The first episode of DumbLand clocks in at under three minutes and concerns the main character “Randy” admiring his neighbor’s wooden shed. He lets out a huge fart and the neighbor says he has a false arm as he detaches the limb and tosses it on the lawn before a helicopter flies low, which “Randy” screams at. “Randy” then says to the neighborm “I heard once someone said you fuck ducks.” A duck appears and quacks and the man responds, “I am a one-armed duck fucker.” The End. These eight short episodes were actually stranger and more demented and violent than I thought they would be. They seem to build toward an unbearable madness with each subsequent entry becoming crazier and more repetitive (Episode 5, “Get the Stick,” is just four minutes of a screaming guy with a stick stuck in his mouth). But things resolve with the finale episode, “Ants,” as it becomes a musical sung by ants. |
