MOVIE #1,513 • 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 • 04.03.24 SUZAN PITT 🕳️ DIRECTOR FOCUS With beautiful and tactile handcrafted animation, we see a woman poop out asparagus into a toilet. The discordant soundtrack by Richard Teitelbaum is the perfect accompaniment. The faceless pooper (now wearing a mask) enters a claymation theater, though she remains hand-drawn. The movie they are viewing appears to be the world in which she has tried to escape: a surreal hell or heaven that physically comes alive before the little clay people. In the end, she returns home to fellate a thicc asparagus stalk, transforming it into an array of different materials. |
