🎙️ EPISODE 28: 04.28.2015
Honestly this could probably be higher than a 9. I can't really think of a better live document of a band going out in their prime and it's kind of the quintessential "concert film" by my book. One thing that ruined it (or perhaps made it weirdly more interesting) was hearing about how Chuck Klosterman is basically acting as a reporter in this role for the purpose of the movie. It clouds the concepts of reality and artiface because that's show biz baby. Also please note: I for one don't think that they're eventually reuniting soils this any (see my previous sentence about "show biz baby"); follow your weird muse wherever it might lead: a wine bar in BKN, Madison Square Garden, or perhaps–even–at... the movies. |
