Talk about not doing justice to an otherwise pretty good, possibly great film? Sheesh. This recording (above) should be destroyed in one of the nuclear bomb experiments from the 50s. If I had a time machine I would take it out to the desert and put it right on top of the bomb before they detonated it. Nevertheless. Bi Gan (30 years old as of this post) is now eligible for the DIRECTOR FOCUS tab on this here movie blog (see above), as he only has two films to his name and I have reviewed both titles (here is my review of his first film Kaili Blues). That's my story and I'm sticking to it. It might be horribly offensive, but whatevz, here goes... whenever I see his name I want to make some sort of "let Bi Gan, be Bi Gan" joke. IDFK.
