 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 | 🎙️ EPISODE 7: 04.06.2015 While I've found Jim Jarmusch's output to be hit or miss over time, like Cronenberg, he deserves a more nuanced and dedicated assessment. That being said, I loved this particular film and it's probably my favorite of his films that I've seen up to this point. A truly unique take on the vampire subgenre. (I also have to say that I don't recall this being a dramedy in the slightest but it's listed as such on most websites? It definitely had some humor but it feels odd labeling it as such. This is a pretty low-stakes issue, I'll admit.) |
