🎙️ EPISODE 464: 05.11.22

Here is a follow-up episode to my recennt run of PTA reviews and ranking. And if you thought that series was underwhelming! Well, I'm really phoning this one in, bitch. No JK. (sorta?) I just don't think there's a whole hell of a lot to say about this 54-minute feature and his five shorts I watched/rewatched. This doc, put out by MUBI in 2015, is your boilerplate fly-on-the-wall document of musicians making an album: in this case the composer Shye Ben Tzur, a bunch of Indian musicians and Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, who of course has scored every Anderson film since There Will Be Blood in 2007. It's a pleasant watch, though. The setting and landscape are beautiful and the music is interesting. It's totally fine!
