MOVIE #1,619 • 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 • 05.10.24 There’s some confusion about when this came out (some sites list it as 1955, others after Operation Concrete in 1958) but a helpful introduction on the version uploaded to YouTube in 2017 tells us that JLG made Une femme coquette (also known as “A Flirtatious Woman”) with the funds from that short documentary film. He also served as the sole crewmember on this minimalist 9-minute effort: s a story about a woman who allows herself to be mistaken for a prostitute (and nasty, degrading hijinks ensue). This is going to be a long journey so not sure how much stock (or thought) I should put into these early stepping stones. This was pretty good. |
