I actually saw this years ago and loved it. I still do. Presented in black and white with a nice downbeat groove for a score, we just get to chill David for twenty minutes as he makes dinner. He has a smoke and some red wine while it's cooking and tells a story about a mysterious occurrence in Yugoslavia. He talks about frog-moths which will make any Lynch-head immediately think about Twin Peaks: The Return Episode 8. The story continues with various twists and turns and it's great. We briefly see David enjoying the quinoa then the film ends. |
