I think the viewers probably get a kick out of the salaciousness of these stories. I'm not going to pass judgment on that one way or the other. But even when they're given titles so straight-ahead as this (this is what happened, this is a REAL person). And when the lead looks and is legit close to underage (Summer H. Howell might have been 18 when they filmed this but she passes for 15 easily), I can't help but ask these questions.

As this wraps up (for now!) the Director Focus on Shawn Linden, I'm not here to make the case for him as an auteur. But the shift to Lifetime after a trio of hit-or-miss indies is an interesting one. Work is work, I suppose. And while this is bland in the way Lifetime probably wants, it's serviceable if not completely unwatchable. I'm not sure if I'll remember to keep tabs on this director's future output but I'll do my best. Watching every movie ever made is both my plight and my life's work, as it were.
