This 12-minute short released on David’s YouTube channel in 2020 is technically is last (to date) ‘official’ cinematic effort (I’ll have one more post, for now, on Thursday, but for all intents and purposes, this wraps up my exhaustive David Lynch retrospect, spanning over 60 entries in the world of feature-length and short films). Essentially a nature documentary, we see that David is not afraid to let nature run its course inside his workspace. It would be so easy to have a cleaning person come through and never let those webs accumulate but that’s not his style. I think that says a lot about him as both an artist and a person, honestly. |
