🎙️ EPISODE 36: 05.06.2015
I watched Errol Morris's A Thin Blue Line in a film class at Rutgers way back when. That was probably my first exposure the famed documentarian. The "thin blue line" is a term that typically refers to the concept of the police as the line which keeps society from descending into violent chaos. Well, I like to think of great documentaries as the lens with which we make sense of that chaos. Anyway, this might be Morris's worst entry insomuch as I can't for the life of me remember what the subject was. Like... zero clue, something about tabloids, I guess? Pretty good movie though. |
