🎙️ EPISODE 340: 03.19.2021 *Review starts @ ~ 27:20 I put this one on on a whim. A not-made-for-Netflix Netflix-aquired docuseries, this is certainly more than another entry in the never-ending content stream of Unabomber-related content, both in the "inspired by" narrative space and the realm of docs. While it's billed (and promoted) as the definitive "his side of the story" (see title), the tapes from the admittedly in-depth and extremely rare interview with the domestic terrorist/guy with some really good ideas (? teehee maybe? no? umm) is only a part of this 4-parter's appeal. Many of the major players (including the Unabomber's snitch of a brother–JK) give deep, long interviews. I'm not completely sure if this is THE document on the Unabomber story, but it's probably the leader in the clubhouse at this point. I'm glad I dove in.
