 | MOVIE #1,694 • 🍿 • 06.04.24 Just one bad joke after another from the word go. Been a minute since I watched such a putrid entry. This has big time mid-2000s energy, complete with endless shitty rock music, with the added caveat that it’s a full decade late. Apologies to all the Fire Lee-heads out there, but this Fire Lee joint sucks. Worse than it’s tryhard visuals is the mindless, ambling screenplay, which seems (at least) to attempt to make fun of its own stupidity at points, but even that doesn’t work. The bulk of the action takes place in a 24-hour shop and I can fairly confidently say that no convenience store has ever been lit like this… |
I don't really know what the tone was supposed to be here, but it 100% failed at establishing anything interesting or entertaining.
