MOVIE #1,785 • 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿 • 07.05.24 FRITZ LANG: DIRECTOR FOCUS I'm not sure I have anything of note to say about this second part that I didn't mention in my first review. That entry had the more memorable visuals. This one is comparably good and features Attila the Hun. There are some giant set-pieces with hundreds of horses, a large bull spinning on a spit, tons of large-scale fighting scenes– maybe1 and more (see examples below). It’s hard to discuss this without the obligatory mention of its length and I’m glad I split it up into two viewings. But it’s definitely a hurdle. |
