🎙️ EPISODE 473: 05.24.22 I was really wondering how they were gonna top the gorilla cum and Chinese dick finger trap scenes with over 40 minutes to go in the movie, but the secret genius of Bad Trip (2021) — not to be confused with Bad Trip (1988) — are the moments outside of the insane hidden camera stunts. Either through hybrid moments like the phenemonel grocery store drug freakout, or with just the casual banter and chemistry shared between Lil Rel Howery and Eric Andre, this movie ends up being so much more than the sum of its parts. Throw in an unhinged Tiffany Hadish running amok and this is easily one of the best comedy movies of the last several years. I didn't think it could be done to this degree, but they took the Borat formula and ran with it.
